If Oklahoma beats Mizzou, how will you guys feel about Ohio State playing for the national championship? Is this adding insult to injury after all the SEC teams beat up on each other?

Please I'm sick of hearing about SEC teams I don't see how they are much tougher than any other leagues they just get more publicity is all. I feel Ohio State should get the chance again, if it was Florida or another SEC team making a repeat it would be fantastic right. Go BUCKS!!!!

That would be a huge travesty for college football. This year is a prime example of why a playoff is needed for NCAA football. The Big-10 commissioner needs to quit protecting his team's integrity, & let them prove that they are worthy of the National Championship. He is the main opponent of the playoff system & judging from how this season is playiong out, I can see why. How would he feel if Ohio state went undefeated for the entire season & then lost to a a team like Troy in the first round of the playoffs. If an SEC or PAC 10 team goes undefeated all season, then you know that they are deserving of a National Championship game. Who wants to see Oklahoma & Ohio State, 2 second tier teams slug it out in a white-boy national championship game??? Not me! Let the kids decide who is the champion on the field in a playoff like every other sport does!!!

Never thought it would happen but it sure could now. I am an ohio state fan and didnt think ohio state would win out to begin with. Now with one loss and a chance. I think its funny because all it is doing is bugging the hell out of everyone who doesnt like them. Even if they lose thats one less team that got a chance. Im sure they will be criticised if they lose but ohio state fans dont care what everyone else is saying. Personally I think an ohio state west virgina game would be wonderful. Anyone who thinks ohio state doesnt deserve a spot is just mad that their team had a chance and blew it. Every one knows how the system works. It hasnt changed for years. Now suddenly eveyone hates it. Wow thats amazing that nobody thought of it as being bad before. And personally i think ranking means nothing to a team this year. There isnt such a thing as a nobody and how many times have ranked teams lost to unranked or a worse ranked team.

It's funny how people keep bringing up last year's loss to Florida as a measuring stick for how OSU will play in this year's bowl game. Look at the two teams ('06 and '07 Buckeyes)...they are almost totally different. To use last year's team to judge the play of the team they have on the field now is a huge fallacy. Florida lost most of their team as well and they lost three games this year. OSU lost one after losing most of their team. That's okay SEC fans, keep trashing OSU. Your best teams finished 10-2 (sans the conference championship game)...that's best for second in the Big 10.
Also, in the past 14 head-to-head matchups between Big 10 and SEC schools, the Big 10 is 8-6.

It would make the BCS system look really bad. Why punish Kansas that has the same record and lost to the #4 team on a neutral site. What makes Ohio State better when they lost to an unranked team on their home field? Is it just because they lost two weeks later?

It would be considered a slap in the face in my opinion. After all the top ranked teams LSU has had to play putting Ohio State in the title game would be just plain horrible. Ohio State hasn't played nearly the caliber of teams LSU has and LSU has not lost in regulation this year. Two triple overtime losses in my opinion should be very equivalent to a tie.

I wont watch if they make it and I love College football. I dont hate Ohio State and I actually lived in Ohio for awile but they dont deserve to be there based on that weak schedule. its just hard to imagine they didnt get dropped further down after loosing to a then unranked Illini.

I really hope WVU and Misou win out. Would be an exciting game no matter who your a fan of.

I hope it does happen. Because out of the top three, West Virginia is playing the best football right now.. Ohio State does not want any part of that offense if they couldn't stop Illinois. I don't like the the whole top three. I don't like USC neither but with that team healthy like they are now, they could beat all three...
And that is coming from a LSU fan.. and know i don't think LSU should be there.....

It's no different than all the years the BigTen teams beat each other...

How many times did Michigan ruin an Ohio State shot at the title? Or vice-versa...

Just a little.........I'll get over it though. I hope that Ohio State does get to play the title game. I know a few Buckeyes..so what ever works.

I just have to back my team up here and say GO DAWGS.....no insult intended.
