Idiot is probably too strong a word; but clearly his IQ isn't much, if at all, above average and his intellectual curiosity has been non existent most of his life. In addition, look at the business failures throughout his life, despite having the Bush family influence and cash. His only success was with a baseball team that he was asked to be involved with only because of his name. The man's life was highly unremarkable, but the family name has brought him unthinkable power and the ability to do great harm to America and the world.

I do not think such a question should even arise. Whether we like it or not, he won two terms. No idiot ever achieves that. I do not agree with his policies and I think he is stubborn. He never says sorry even when he makes a mistake. He has been driven more by ideology than by the interest of the nation. He has allowed deep divisions in the American society by being extremely partisan. He has made the rich richer and the poor poorer. Under his watch, there is a mortgage crisis but he certainly is no idiot. He is just Bad luck for both peaceful Americans as well as terrorists!

I like some of the answers to this questions. "hes a idiot." Learn to use the language properly before you attempt calling someone who has graduated from both Harvard and Yale an idiot. I don't think he's an idiot at all; on the contrary, I think he's a very smart man. After all, he convinced the U.S. public that it somehow made sense to invade Iraq when the people who were supposedly behind 9/11 were in Afghanistan. I think Bush is smart enough to realize that if you divert the public's attention, you can do anything you want.

Let's see, he graduated from Yale (with higher grades than John Kerry), he's got a Harvard MBA, graduate of the US Air Force Flight School, was part owner of the Texas Rangers, was the Governor of Texas, and elected President of the United States, TWICE!!

I don't think he's an idiot, Bush & Cheney are criminals starting a war and neglence of duty to the country and further believe both should be tried in a court of law.

I think he has a low I.Q. and acts as a puppet for his administration ( Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld). He also puts personal wealth before humanity, how can an intelligent person be that shallow.

Yes, because he is doing all the right things for the wrong reasons. Which he is getting in trouble for.

Did you hear him today trying to name the Palestinian and Israeli leaders and screwing it up? It is one thing to not know how to pronounce their names but it is stupidity that causes him not to find out how to pronounce their names beforehand. Stupidity or arrogance, probably both.
