I got my period yesterday for the first time and it was very light then today i have had nothing so far is that normal and okay?

Considering it's your first time, it's completely normal.

Usually your first one is a bit abnormal at times.

It's your first time, yes this is normal. My first period was at age 12, it lasted 3 days and was very light and then I didn't have another one for a little over a year. After that I've been fairly regular.
