do not know if they turned water off at some point
when we turn taps at sink on, noise lessens but does not stop

have you checked and asked your previous tenants abt it? i'd suggest you get a plumber to fix your problem, go to 88db website and search for plumbing services...hope this helps

Air block??? Knocking in pipes? If thats the case then have a water hammer arester installed on your water lines under your house. If you are talking about air coming out of your faucets then just leave on till air escapes normally about 2-3 min. holla at me if you have more prob.

best thing to do is call a plumber to look at it. If you have a security deposit for them you can use that to pay for it since they caused it.
