No. What happened to him was tragic, but he didn't earn the right to be inducted into the Hall of Fame because he was murdered. He certainly didn't earn the right to be inducted by his play on the field, not after just 4 years.

Comparing him to Reggie White is absolutely ludicrous. Reggie White had a full, dominant career that included 13 Pro Bowls and a Super Bowl victory.

If they do it for him out of sympathy, then the Hall Of Fame will become a joke, and will make the members already there that earned the right to be there, meaningless, there have been other tragic cases with football players similar to Taylor's death, and they were not inducted,Pat Tillman for example like some one else mentioned, and he was a real hero that died for this country

No offense, but there are a lot of players who have made more of a contribution to the game who have not been inducted yet. I agree that what happened is tragic, and he was a promising player, but I don't think his death is really a reason to induct him into the hall of fame over many more deserving players.

Every single player in the NFL "would have had" a great career.

But only a few do. And those guys get inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Sean is not one of them.

This was tragic,I had hoped he would fully recover and go back to playing his game even though I am a Cowboy fan he was a very good player and I doubt he will get in...........

No....he didn't have a hall of fame career. By your logic, should we also induct Darrent Williams into the hall of fame? He had a bright future in front of him.

Sean taylor was my favorite football player period but, i dont think there is a chance he will get into the hall of fame. I think he was on pace to make it after his carrer was over by retirement. R.I.P SEAN TAYLOR

No...You can't just put a guy in on projected numbers or a tragic accident.

Yeah right - just behind Pat Tillman ..... at least he is a TRUE hero.

Sorry, but you don't get your career numbers evelated and move to the head of the line just because you died in your prime.

I'm having a hard time believing this is a serious question !!!
