There's a couple stations here that started playing continuous Christmas music after Thanksgiving. That's about the right time for me, I love it. I have been known to listen to a Christmas tune in the summertime too, if I'm in the mood. lol

I also agree with Lady G. I work at a Michaels and all we hear from after Halloween on is Christmas music. We're tired of it before Christmas even comes. Right after Thanksgiving is too soon. I guess most stores do that. Give us a break.

My usual radio station started playing Christmas music before Thanksgiving. That's when I started to hunt for another station. I love Christmas time and Christmas music, but definitely not before Thanksgiving. I say-play it when you want and I'll be doing the same. Happy Holidays.

Why should there be a specific time? We have a radio station here in my City that starts playing, non-stop, Christmas music on Thanksgiving day thru Christmas day. My husband and I were on one of our trips to Las Vegas and heard Christmas music in July! That was fun. 115 Degrees outside and Christmas music coming from the car radio. It's all about your Spirit of the season.

Just enjoy it and you, yourself should be the judge.

One of my favorite Christmas songs is, So this is Christmas by John Lennon.

I play it off and on throughout the year.

My daughter plays guitar and we have a sing along each year at our family Christmas party.

When we sing, So this is Christmas, it brings tears to my eyes.

Their not tears of sadness, they are tears of joy, hearing how beautiful it sounds, to have my family that has grown in number to 38 beautiful voices.

I want to wish you a Merry Christmas from the bottom of my Heart.

I wish it could have waited until at least the 1st of December. But alas, we have to hear it everyday at work starting the day after Thanksgiving.

When you WANT to. I keep CDs in my desk at work. Two are Christmas songs. I have listened to them "off season" because I felt like it. I have headphones, but I would not be embarrassed if anyone heard it.

Wasn't aware there was a "proper " time. I've listened to it in July.
