I find it really awkward to take shower in the gym.It is really annoying to see people running without clothes.I am kind of on the heavier side and I am very uncomfortable to run around like this.I could never understand the protocol.
Is it essential for girls to take shower after gym?

When I was in school, I refused to shower in front of everyone. I understand completely--it is embarressing! This time is awkward enough without having to worry about being naked in front of your classmates.

If you take a good shower every morning and wear deodorant, you do not need to take a shower after gym if you don't want to. Bring a little body spray with you and spritz some on after class if you are worried about smelling (ou probably won't if you have good hygiene). Splash your face with some cool water in the bathroom and you should be good to go.

Like the other people answered, don't worry about what other think about you. When I was in school we didn't have enough time to take a shower before out next class. I'd say take a shower if you're covered in sweat but if you didn't really do much then don't worry about showering, it can wait until you get home.

Hey you have a great body! Check yourself out naked in a full length mirror! While it is not essential to take a shower after gym,to feel fresher its probably a good idea. Dont worry about what the other girls think, they are all too worried about themselves. You need to enjoy your body and realise its hot, dont try to hide it or be embarrased. Good luck

Yes it is important for you to shower after gym. you've probably been sweating and you won't be very pleasant to be around after that.

No one is paying attention to you in the locker room, they are all too hung up on what you are thinking about them.

One thing I've learnt from experience is that you musn't care what other people think about you. Stop worrying about what people are going to say and just be yourself.
