My fiance is on her period its her 3rd day out of 4 and today it was really heavy which has never happened before.

Should we both be worried.

Could this be anything related to a pregnancy?

Im freaking out a little probably not normal but i am, and were only 24.

Difficult to say. If you have had unprotected sex then it is possibly a very early miscarriage but as her period arrived on time it is more likely to be just 'one of those things' and nothing to worry about. Sometimes women get a period that is 'abnormal' for them for no reason that can be explained.
Even if she has had a very early miscarriage, at this stage there is nothing that could or would be done. Years ago women did not know they were pregnant this early and just assumed their periods were a little late or just heavy that month.
As long as your girlfriend feels ok (not faint / dizzy) then just keep an eye on her. If she develops any crampy pains in her pelvis or back or if she passes any large clots then speak to the doctor. If she finds it happens again next month then again, a trip to the GP may be in order.

If she was late and there is a lot of tissue and the blood is much heavier than normal, then yes she is probably having an abortion (this is the medical term for an early term miscarriage). If she has any unusual cramping or the bleeding remains unusually heavy, or she's getting lightheaded, she should go to the doctor.

If none of the above applies, it could be she's just having a heavier period this month. No big deal it happens.

Monthly cycles vary every month. Sometimes they start off heavy and slow down and then at times they start off light and get heavy. If she is using a sanitary napkin every 15 minutes then you should worry if not everything is fine.
