I thought we could all talk together and take turns you know . It was a happy , funny conversation, but I couldnt get a word in edge wise and those rude bizzos new I had something to say .
What do you do in this situation?

Thats funny , I did try to talk louder and they raised their louder ! I didnt know what to do after that !

I have that problem as well. I finally get to get a word in edgewise and someone runs right over me as if I wasn't even speaking. I don't do that to others, so this really ticks me off. Usually, I wind up just walking away.

Are you sure they weren't my older brothers? Just walk away and let them wear themselves out, it is a power struggle and if you give up they will tone down their voice or wonder why you don't enjoy their company.

I would tell them to not speak while im talking and they need to wait until im done...sorry i know im kinda bitchy but i like to make my point also

if it's someone i know well, i sarcastically say "excuse me for interrupting you" if i don't know the person, i let them talk then try to get a word in. if they still talk over me, i leave.

I throw a tantrum. Well i actually get really upset and let my friends know. I also accuse them of ignoring me and i walk off. They follow me and they apologise and let me speak.
My friends know i am sensitive when it comes to being ignored.

Distract them, then talk. Pepper spray worked well last time.
