I like Gabrielle much better. Honestly, I'm not really crazy about Galilee. Plus, Gabrielle has family meaning.

Unless you pick a one-syllable name, you're stuck with nicknames. It's inevitable. Galilee will result in people calling her "Gal" or "Lee." I guarantee it. If you don't want nicknames and don't like Gabrielle with Elizabeth, but want to keep the middle name, it sounds like you need to go back to the drawing board.

Gabrielle is an actual person name. Galilee is not. Isn't it a Biblical country? Gabby is a good nick name.

I personally like the name Gabrielle better - I think either way the child would be nicknamed. If you don't like the nickname Gabbie my uncle and Aunt nicknamed my cousin Ella (for Gabriella)
Just a suggestion.

I really like Gabrielle Elizabeth - plus it combines both of your heritages. Best of luck!

I think they are both beautiful! I wanted gabrielle also, but my husband didn't want anyone to call her Gabby, as you think will happen also. Bot both are really nice names!
