fax machine?

work needs me to get a fax machine. which is the bestest one?

By now most all do the same and really none are better then others. HP or Brother make pretty good ones.

or you could get a multifunctional (i.e. scanner, printer, fax).

good manufacturers are: canon, brother, epson, lexmark, hp, panasonic... and more.

if you buy a fax only machine, look for one that scans into its memory the whole document it has to send, to save on call fees; also you should look for the one that makes the most cheap copy and uses plain paper.
a plus is the possibility to receive faxes in memory (if the paper tray is empty) and print them later.

Price point? Speed? Other features such as Internet faxing? Scan and fax? Spam filter? Receipt confirm? Logging? Speed-dial? Color?
