you're young and your body is changing. The severity could be due to anything from hormone fluctuations to something in your diet.

I almost always have mild cramps but occasionally have bad cramps.

For me, I've noticed my cramps are worse if I'm drinking too much caffine, eating too much salt and/or not drinking enough water.

The same thing happened to me. I never got cramps and then when I was 18 all of a sudden when I was at the movies it started to hurt so bad to the point to where I vomited outside. I couldnt even move. I went to the doctor because i freak out about small things. He just put me on birth control and they went away. Hope this helps. Just hormones.

its a part of PMS..when i got my period last year..i was 12... i had it for about 6 months until i started getting cramps and not untill a month or two ago i was very moody around that time. when your young it takes some times to get regulated with your period.

Your body is still changing and so are your periods. Sometimes my periods are very painful, next month i hardly notice, you will probably notice a pattern develops from now on.

If you are young, sometimes your period just changes. I wouldn't worry about it.
