My answer would be the same as it was for my children, When you bring the police into our home you better plan on going with them afterward because I am through with you.
Now that the call has been made there is nothing he can do except ride it out and get rid of the person who put him in the system.
Less physical abuse, what possible reason would cause a call to police? If it was physical abuse he should be jailed.
If not I fear you have made a serious mess of his life and your marraige.
I hope you had a good reason for this because most authorities put him through the wringer regardless of what you say now. Individuals arrested for domestic violence frequently talk the spouse into dropping the charges so the prosecuters do not allow it.
He should get an attorney to deal with the police and take care of the divorce as well.

Did u go to jail? I know here in the states if 911 is called someone is going to jail in a domestic fight. (it's called the nicole simpson act) This exact thing happened to close friends, who are now going through a divorce. The stats of keeping this relationship together are not good. She needed to control herself, no matter how mad she was she's completely damaged this marriage forever.

Depends if she presses charges. If she doesn't press charges then really I would be confronting her on why she called di the husband threaten or hit her then she has just cause he should have to suffer for his actions.

it depends on why she called 911 on him. if he put his hands on his wife, then his *** needs to go to jail. you have to look at both side of the story.
if they both were just mouthing at each an she called 911. her *** would be going to jail with me.
