Conservatives are only good for cutting taxes for the very rich and for corporations. Just after Katrina when the oil companies made the biggest profits ever in gasoline profits, bush wanted the Congress to give 'em a big tax break. It being an election year for Congress, they said "hell no!"
The taxes leeched from Americans go mostly to the rich in various cunning tax giveaways most other Americans are not aware of. For example, there is the scheme that gives 'em big handouts when they send our jobs overseas. There's one in which a corp that can't quite reach the profit number needed to exempt 'em from paying taxes the govt gives 'em the money to attain that number, and then allows 'em to skip tax paying.
Recently a multi-billionaire bragged that he pays far less taxes than his poorly-paid secretary! It is no longer a matteer of the govt refunding taxes to the very rich. In order to REfund, the taxes must have been paid in the first place. In most cases they were never paid in to begin with. Thus bush's govt is merely handing our tax reveues out to 'em. Much of his borrowing money (nothing like a borrow & spend conservative) from the Chinese (which comprises "the foreign debt") is done for handing it out to the very rich in tax repayments never paid in in the first place. We're in debt to the Chinese in the $trillions. Our great grandkids will be paying off bush's big give-away debt to the very rich long after us.
When some dork-wad denies all of this, remenber that Warren Buffet, one of the richest men on the entire planet, recently said before a Congressional Committee that THE GOVT SHOULD REQUIRE THE VERY RICH TO PAY TAXES WHICH NOW FALLS ENTIRELY UPON THE DWINDLING MIDDLE CLASS. A LITERAL ADMISSION FROM ONE OF 'EM! They will claim that the give-away money they receive from the govt goes to create jobs -- suuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrreeeeee it does -- in India, Mexico, China, Korea, etc.
This big socialist give-away program to the wealthiest among us is why we slave 5 months to get the taxes paid.

Because the GOP is cuttting taxes only for the business. Poor hardly pay any taxes. The GOP has not done anything to reduce prices of essentials eg Food, Cost of travelling to Work, Rents.
The increase in the Prices does not effect the rich because they can affort the higher prices, eg they are still driving cars that are the size of an apartment buildings.

Actually it is 4 months and 4 days. Before Bush it was 4 months and 23 days. You save an average of 19 days. The democrats running for office are all promising to do away with Bush's tax cuts and create all kinds of new taxes. If all proposed tax increases go into effect your payoff time will be 6 months 11 days. And if socialized health care becomes a reality you are looking at 8 months 2 days.

Reagan was a NeoCon as well, which is mostly the problem.
NeoCons prefers to increase spending on the Military Industrial Complex, at the same time trying not to raise taxes. This is generally done through the removal of funds elsewhere.
Liberals prefer to raise taxes and remove funds from other areas of the budget in order to increase spending in their projects. Problem is, their spending projects generally include Black Holes, like education. Now, before you jump down my throat about education being all grand and crap like that...our test scores in this country have been falling like a rock since Clinton changed the education establishment....and it was a drop in scores that cost billions of dollars that came from a gutted intelligence community, gutted military (which was first started by Bush Sr.) and increased taxes.
So we should really work hard as a constituency to make sure NeoCons and Liberals never take office again!! I think Bush has done a fine job of leaving a bad taste in the Republicans voter's mindset about NeoCons....Unforturtunately, Clinton didn't hasn't left a bad taste in the Democratic party enough for them to leave the Liberals at the wayside.

Conservative
That term has been hijacked!
Barry Goldwater was a Conservative
Ron Paul is a Conservative
In fact the Globalist Elite do not want any real Conservative to have any say or have any true position of power
That is why they attack Ron Paul
Real Conservative - Real American Values
Too bad - their loss!
America will voice their power through their vote!

Ha! Face it you've been NEO-CONNED!
I would argue that not even reagan was a true conservative as he ran up deficits that were truly ludicrous.
Next time vote for Ron Paul and maybe we won't have to pay income taxes anymore.

The conservatives are good at cutting taxes for the rich and the corporations. Anyone who believes that the conservatives are compassionate is a certified fool. But you knew that.

The republicans construct tax cuts that benefit the wealthy only. They do not care about the other 99% of the population.
