What right do you think the father of a dead baby has, to sue the living crud out of a woman who didn't let him know he was a father? Did she give him the right to be a parent, and raise his heir? Part of himself?

Women have just as much RESPONSIBILITY for having sex with a man, as a man is with a woman. There are no scape goats here. Are you saying it is better that a growing baby die, than to let a loving parent care for it?

An abortion is a medical condition????? Huh? I thought a perfectly healthy soon to be baby was been scraped out of a womb, like a bowl full of unwanted tuna salad. Thanks for setting me straight!

I have always thought about how horrible this is!! How can women who do this be so unfeeling, so callous, to think she has the right to this decision! I think if a man can show his distress and take whatever it means to get that point across he should sue her for all it's worth! I'd love to be the judge in these cases cause I'd throw the book at her! And I wouldn't fall for her crocodile tears either and whimpering it's her body.

Possibly, depending on factors such as if he was there during the pregnancy, and if he wanted aything to do with the child. Most men, who actually hold up their end of the bargain when it comes to a kid, would be upset if the child was aborted and if they were never told the child would be aborted. On the other hand, a father who wanted nothing to do w. the child in the first place has nothing to do w. the info on an abortion either.

There are no morals` or virtues` that define abortion ! In most cases of abortion performed by Planned Parenthood , the aborting woman would more than likely need to get a DNA sample from the dead baby to determine who the father really was !! The Planned Parenthood assisted aborting mother usually has no idea of who the real father is because of more than one sex partner !

That is, provided the father wants to take care of his child. Your question is conditional; as if there are all kinds of guys out there in the dark who have unprotected sex and find out later they could have had a child they actually wanted. Keep in mind he does not have to carry the baby, or give birth to it. If you believe this little tidbit is meaningless, your head is in the sand.
Let's face it - it is almost part of a man's makeup to avoid unexpected pregnancy. It should be just as much a woman's, in my opinion. I agree wholeheartedly that it is both a man and a woman's responsibility, equally. Evidently, though, this isn't enough for people to practice safe sex.
I can't speak for other women. I can say though it is a safe guess that when most encounter an unexpected pregnancy, they tell the father. What they do beyond that is their business, period.

IMO, it takes two to make a baby, and the father has every right in the world to take part in that decision. If the mother doesn't want the baby, then sever all rights when the child is born, and let the father have custody. There would be no child without a man, so why shouldn't he have a say?

The two women that I know both had discussions with the father and the decision was made by both of them. I can only speak of these women, however (who were both girls, really, still in high school).

I just love the way a woman gets pregnant without a man's help. He is either dammed if he does or dammed if he doesn't. It seems the women want to screw around and get pregnant but it is the mans fault for getting her that way. Maybe if she didn't spread her legs she wouldn't have that unwanted kid. Responsibility works both ways.

I personally think the man has absolutely no rights in the decision. He might decide he wants a baby (doubtful) but it is not his body that is involved in the carrying and birthing of a baby. If more men actually took part in the raising and support (emotional and financial) of the children they carelessly create, women might be more inclined to bring a child to term. And before you screech about using abortion for birth control, think of this: Why didn't this most ideal man you describe take it upon himself to use birth control? It's not just the woman's responsibility, you know? Which brings us full circle: It becomes the woman's responsibility and, therefore, her choice. If the man wants a baby, he can either get married or hire a surrogate mother. You asked what I thought; that's what I think.

It wasn't daddy's business nor does he have the right. It's her body. If he want's a kid perhaps he should marry the woman he's screwing first before she gets pregnant and learn to take care and responsibility of that relationship first. In other words, MAN UP and care about the woman he's screwing and stop making nonsense claims to part of her body as a vessel for his selfish desire of having an heir for the sake of having an heir.

Your premise is completely scewed in what you are saying. According to your question, it is about having an heir, which is a very selfish reason to have a child. And, then you talk about the sex act and that it is the responsiblity of the woman as well. Yes, it does take two to have sex. But only the woman is the host of a fetus. If she decides to have a baby then when it is born, it is considered a baby. MEN CAN'T GROW FETUS' NOR CAN THEY HAVE BABIES. Your question and your addition are two completely different issues because not all acts of sex produce fetus'.
When men get the right to decide the fate of a woman's health and what goes on with her body is the day when the Catholic church has taken over this country like they have in Nicaragua.

If you aren't married to her, you don't have any rights. It is her body not yours that is going through all of this. How many men father children and don't bother to support them let alone visit with them? Many girls tell the guys they are pregnant, and that is the last they see or hear from them. I myself do not condone abortions, but I do understand why a lot are done.
