my friend (it is my friend and not me lol) is being taken to a county court due to an on going feud with another member of the public. She has said that she will get sentenced to prison but i do not believe this as it is a county court. But im not sure how worried to be if they really can.

County criminal courts routinely send people to jail or prison. County civil courts only send people to jail for contempt of court. A person can not be sent to jail simply as the result of a civil trial.

County courts hear both civil and criminal cases. County court judges sentence murders, drug dealers, armed robbers, etc. They also have the power to send a party to jail in civil cases. This would depend on what she did. It sounds like maybe your friend is being intimidated, or at least made to worry. An attorney, if told the specifics of the case , would probably have a pretty good idea if prison was a possible outcome for your friend.
