i think it's a beautiful name! That was actually my choice if I were to have a girl, so I'm a little biased.

Leah is a lovely name for a little girl and would continue to uit her into adulthood I dont like names like Bluebell n other celebrity names as they sound so silly for a 30 yr old women but Leah is a nice name.

I love the name Leah when pronounced: Lee- yah but I am not a big fan of meaning of the name. It means "tired" or "weary" and in the Bible she was Jacob's least favorite wife. (Her sister Rachel was the favorite). However, she was devoted and God rewarded her for being a good wife, despite being unloved by her husband.
I love the spelling Lia, because it is pronounced the same way and because it means "messenger-- or angel" which I think is a better meaning. And I think that it is a very cute name. I really love Lia.
If you pronounce it Lay-yah, the Leah is a better spelling, but I don't like it as much for the reasons I explain above.
Still, it is a very pretty name!

I love it, my cousin named her little girl Leah Elizabeth. I think its a very beautiful classy name and fits well as a first name or a middle name.

Are you pronouncing it Leah (Lee) or Le-ah? Leah (Lee) is kinda plain for a girl but Leah (Le-ah) is quite pretty. But as already said, fairly common these days.

Charming - my cousin has a daughter by that name. It's in the Bible, too. Leah was Joseph's first wife.
