When i dont know what i want for my birthday i usually feel its because i really have everything i need already.
Now, when i say need, i dont mean want. I can WANT a Mercedes, but i may NEED a toyota.
So look inside and see what you need. if its nothing then dont ask for anything. Maybe even ask for a donation in ur name to a reputable charity. There are alot of people that need your help out there. Its nice to think about others when ur only expected to think about urself.
Also i'd say pick up some books for yourself. Reading is really underated and if you find a really good book you wont regret it.
Or ask for a video camera or a camera or a gps. those are things, that i find, are what people may actually need. rather then just "want"

ask for gift certificates to your fave stores! that makes it so you can get ANYTHING you want from that store and your friend and the rents dont have to worry about getting something you like.
