x^2 + 3x = 8x + 6 (alternate interior angles congruent)
x^2 - 5x - 6 = 0
(x - 6)(x + 1) = 0
so x = 6 or x = -1 [toss out negative answer]
when x = 6 then x^2 + 3x = 54 and
angle LKF = 180 - 54 == 126

x^2+3x=8x+6 (alternate interior angles are equal)
x^2-5x-6=0
(x-6)(x+1)=0
x=6 or -1
throw out the negative answer
EKL=(6)^2+3(6)=54
LKF=180-54=126
