It depends on how terrible the truth is...I would rather live happily in a lie than miserably with the truth. As long as I dont know that something is a lie and I am better off that way then who cares about the truth!!

YAY LIES!!!
(says the pathological liar)

NO, IT IS THE LIES THAT SCARE ME TO DEATH!

God can always help me deal with the truth, no matter how hard/awful it may be. BUT God can't lie and so if I take refuge in a lie, I'm blocking out my biggest hope and help.

I grew up in lies, my home was filled with lies. I almost killed myself from lies. But, not any more. God is so good and Jesus has helped me with everything.

I do have moments I shrink from facing the truth, I really do. But I have to have the truth, it has never been as painful as finding out I've been deceived!

I don't know why you ask, but I hope you are alright, are you ok?

I would rather know the truth Kirst then I can deal with whatever it is I have to deal with rather than by sweeping it under the carpet where it definitely WON'T go away!!

Truth no matter what the consequences so I can work out how to deal with what ever it is.
I just would not be able to handle not knowing forwarned is forarmed so they say.
