I have had trouble with bleeding off and on for the last six years. It seems to get worse with stress. Lately, it feels like I need to "go" constantly and sometimes nothing but blood comes out. I've been ignoring it hoping it would go away--also thinking it was probably something like hemroids so not anything to get worked up over. Starting to have nagging cramping in my abdomen and pain in my lower back as well.

You definitely should not have waited six years to find out what's going on! You need to see a doctor immediately to rule out cancer and other serious conditions.

Yes, I have the same problem. A few years ago I had several colonositipies and exploratory surgery. The Dr. said it looked like a touch of colitis. Two months later, my ins. co. raised my monthly payment to 675.00. No way I could pay that and the 20% for the other stuff, doctors and hospital. So I just live with it. Very scary though.

Most likely hemmorhoids but a doctor would want to do a colonoscopy to rule out colon cancer or polyps or some sort of anemia you may not be aware you have. More bran in your diet, routine exercise including walking. Don't eat too many bad fat foods & drink a lot of water makes it easier to evacuate. You know it is a real pain in the ***.

Try drinking a lot more water and eat more yogurt. But before you take my advice make an appointment with your family doctor to have yourself checked out. Maybe he/she can prescribe you something to ease the pain.

Could you have something like Irritable Bowl Syndrome? To find out, you really need to go to the doctor. Don't wait. It could be something more serious. Good luck.
