Not just Republicans!! Practically all senators and presidents basically ignore the Constitution!!

I would say that a majority of Americans I know love the Constitution and would like it followed a little more than it has been in the last 7 years. You do not offer any link or citation that backs your assertion that American Republicans believe the Constitution is no longer necessary. That can be said of some of those in the current Administration who have called it a goddamn piece of paper or obsolete but I don't believe it reflects the majority of Republicans or anybody else, for that matter.

Generalizations are really inaccurate!
Both sides have compromised the constitution to forward their own political agenda. And the American public has let them by giving the federal government more and more power without oversight.
Here's a good question:
How many people have actually read all of the constitution and understand what it says?
Answer that and you'll have the reason that politicians get away with erroding the constitution.
