Why not apply for a credit card from you're local bank? I have a card from my bank. It's a smiple one with only 700 credit, I was approved apon applying since I was a student and more. Try a local bank. If you're not happy with a local bank try. Major Credit Card Companies, websites such as Captial One, American Express, Discover card simply by googling you can find a lot.

Try CITI cards or WAMU< they have very good offers going on. WELLS FARGO has some good ones and CHASE Also. AMERICAN EXPRESS has a couple of good deals...
I don;t recommend Bank of America, they are reapers, and so is Capital One. I found out there was something fishy, and closed those accounts.

i tried everywhere trying to get a credit card and they kept denying me cause i had no credit background. i finally got mine through Canadian tire is a mastercard and i can use it anywhere... if u are having problems get a card at a local store
( walmart,sear ect! ) then try to get one from ur bank. dont go with capital one there yearly fees are crazy.

it will take several weeks until the card is in your hands IF and After you are approved, no matter who you go with

If you have a Macy's or Sears near you, you can get a visa there.
