The other day I was holding my rabbit and talking to my parents and he suddenly started wriggling and I lost control and he fell onto the hard kitchen floor. I picked him back up and gave him a hug and checked he was ok and nothing seemed to be worrying so I thought nothing of it, as it wasnt a very long drop as I was kneeling on the floor. But now today his foot is like twice the size of the other one, and I felt it but he didnt flinch but it felt really really big compared to the other one and you could see the difference. So we took him to the vets and he felt my rabbits foot and he started flinching and making a crying sound, and the vet said its probably a broken foot. He wasnt very informative but he came my rabbit some antibiotic injections I think they were, and just let us go. Then the nurse came and gave us some medicine but it was only in a tiny bottle and were meant to mix it up in 1L of water and put it in the fridge and use that as his water for the next week,

Surely that cant last him a week and it wont be very fresh. Any vets or anyone experienced with this willing to help and explain it better to us? Anything that I can do to help my rabbit feel more comfortable other than the medicine?
thank in advance x
