During the news, they actually show a few human interest stories but you have to watch fast as it's on and then gone. They don't dwell on the good people do for each other just the bad.

We will never have good news until we have peace in the world or else every time we turn on news all we are gonna see is death and depression

Silly Boy, Watch your local news stations.....The JC TN station talks about Boys Scouts doing food drives, Volunteer Firefighters pumping water to help farmers, Donations being made to build the new Children's Hospital....There is good news....just look at it on a more local level.....
Peace.

yeah... one day I turned on the tv & saw this gameshow... no need to further elaborate on the details. just seeing this gameshow that provided viewers with a lot of trivial info made me happy to know that we humans can think... sometimes those simple joys turn into good news... that's the case for me. my mind could perceive simple pleasures as great things. :)

that wasn't really about news...but it's about the "new" things I realize when I switch on the tv...
hope this was something helpful... :D

The world is going to the "dogs".

I try to stay away from TV as much as possible. If I want a laugh I watch cartoons or come here.

last night i saw a story about a man who adopted a pit bull who had been used as a bait dog. it had been horribly abused. it was such a touching story about all the love felt between the two of them. the dog ended up needing surgery and as a result ended up with paralyzed back legs. the guy uses a sling and helps him walk. it made me tear up...but in a good way.

Yes . it depends on the kind of news you get effected by them . for example : a hurricane coming to your town is a bad news but when the news says it is not coming to your town it becomes good news . a sunny day for a barbecue is good news and so on .
they say that the news is not when the dog bites a man but the news is when the man bites the dog . i think there is your answer .

Yes, I have. I have seen stories where there were people helping people in life. Giving away food, and such. Helping their communities. I think there are some people in this world who are really nice. Maybe thats why the world hasnt blown up already.

I actually took a break from watching ANY news for about 6 months. I heard from that Canadian Johnny Walker about that bridge collapse a few months back, i was so out of it.
It was nice to not hear it for awhile.

I haven't seen any good news in a while. Last nights and todays was a school bus accident in my town in NC. That was depressing. I did cry for that one.
