As long as I'm not in any hurry to get anywhere - sure.

I don't even care if they're heads-up or tails-up... I've got some friends who'll only pick it up if it's laying heads-up (lucky penny) and if it's tails-up, they'll turn it over & leave it for the next person.

No. Sometimes at my house I even throw them away. It will give children 200 years from now a little excitement to find them in some ancient landfill someday. Kind of like when we get excited finding an old colored glass bottle or an arrowhead.

I don't stop every time but when it's a good day and I'm in a good mood I'll pick it up, only if it's heads up though, when it's tails that's bad luck.
