1 Seven
3 Shawshank Redemption
4 The Bourne Identity
5 Die Hard
6 Raiders of the Lost Ark
7 The Crow
8 Smokey and the Bandit
Just a few of my favorites

The best movie by the best director of all time is:
Dr. Strangelove: or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.
Dark, dark comedy. Stanley Kubrick's best film. Peter Sellers, George C. Scott, Slim Pickens and Sterling Hayden are unbelievably good and absolutely hilarious.
"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!"

Les Miserables (1998) with Liam Neeson, Uma Thurman and Geoffrey Rush and Claire Danes.
A true story of man's humanity, redemption, forgiveness, love, trial and triumph. Best acting for all of these actors and really close to the book by Victor Hugo. No wonder it has withstood the test of time.
I think I'll go watch it right now!

For me it's The Color Purple.
It had 13 Oscar nominations (from best actor/actress on down) and didn't win a SINGLE award. Everyone gave it their all - this is one of the best movies Spielberg ever made!
