well, i know that when i am at work everyone kinda flirts in one way or another, i am not sure about in the business world...but i flirt alot with one of the girls and she is married....i think it's just harmless fun....we both know nothing will happen so we don't worry about it....

I think women who are happily married won't flirt and won't go along with it. Ladies who lack something at home will tend to be a little open to flirting and might initiate the flirting. Men are from Venus. They look for every opportunity to get into a girls pants, if not that, then to make them fall in love with him, it's a power thing. Men loves the feeling when women drool over them. So yes 80-20 to men flirting at work.

Men flirt, but usually only to women who flirt back, or are OK with the whole thing. Especially at work.

I work in a field that's about 65% women. I am flirted with all the cotton-picking time. They like playful banter. They like to touch. They like to make suggestive comments. My wife thinks they do it with me because I'm safe.
So, no, I think the flirting is pretty much equally divided.

Men flirt more than women. As a man, since I never flirt, nobody ever flirts with me, and that's how I know.

It is probably slightly more men, but I believe there are just about as many women doing it as well. It is harmless fun, and it makes the day go by faster.
