I know people who have the remote lock thingy and they click it till they hear the car beep. does that mean its an alarm or just locked? Cause my wife's car beeps like that but no alarm!

Yes i drive a mustang and if my window is down and you put your hand thru the window and try to unlock the door and it will go off and you have to start the car up to stop it!

mine is really an alarm, sometimes I set if off on accident with the panic button on my keyless entry
