what would the temperature of plantes be without the presence of an atmosphere that contains greenhouse gases?

If there were no greenhouse gases at all to keep in the outgoing IR light, the planet would be able to radiate away a lot of its heat whenever the sun was not shining on it, and would be much colder.

Our moon has no atmosphere. The days are extremely hot and the nights extremely cold.
