In my family we try and give each other the worst movie on dvd we can find, and the other has to sit down and watch it. Now I want some really bad, preferably long, terrible movies; but I want really bad movies here. I don't want stuff like, on the other lists like, Lord of the Rings or Cast Away, Nap. Dynamite... some people may not like these movies but they are not... Of All Time bad. I am looking for movies that are excruciating to sit through!! I appreciate the help.

"Brazil". (Also called "1984 1/2" in the UK).
Very 1984-ish in theme. I watched it with a couple of other people in college. It was so hard to sit through that we actually had to take a break and go outside for a few minutes. The plot is complicated and hard to follow in spots. You can almost feel your brain clogging up trying to understand the plot.
Extremely excruciating to sit through. I have yet to find one person who actually likes it.
This is not the longest movie I have ever seen, but by the end, it will feel like it.

Don't ever take the sleeping pills route!!
1. They will damage your liver big time and you can get into serious health problems.
2. You will get hooked up on them and you won't be able to have a normal life any more if you don't take your pills everyday.
The sleeping pills industry is damaging our health by capitalizing on our ignorance, and by distracting people from effective and natural ways to deal with this problem. I had been taking prescription sleep medications [Ambien] for over 5 years. It stopped working and I simply took more. Still did not work. Nights were very difficult - medication put me to sleep but I would wake up after 2–3 hours with a strong sympathetic response (fast pulse, pounding heartbeat, wide awake alert). It was a very difficult cycle to break. I was really in bad shape due to lack of sleep.
After years of struggling I was able to cure my insomnia naturally and pretty fast. I followed the Sleep Tracks sleep optimization program, here is their official web -site if you want to take a look: http://www.insomniacure.net

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians
Manos the Hands of Fate
Attack of the "The Eye Creatures" (that is not a typo on MY part)
Battlefield Earth
Gigli
Batman and Robin/Batman Forever
Howard the Duck (I actually liked this as a kid)
I thought Shoot Em Up was absolutely horrible.

The Alfred Hitchcock movie Marnie was long and boring. I only watched it because I am kind of a 'completist' or something.

There is a HORRIBLE movie starring a very young Tobey Maguire and Mickey Rooney (I think) and Laraine Newman (from SNL) called Revenge of the Red Baron ... it is *SO* amazingly horrible ... effects, acting, EVERYTHING ... I watched it one day when I was housesitting and was completely bored; thankfully it was at the end so I only had to watch a little bit but it's a real STINKER !

I find Howard the duck very hard to sit though. Or Passion of the Christ. Don't get me wrong I like what the movie is about but I hate reading subtitles I can't watch the movie at the same time.
