Patrick Kane, John Toews, Martin Havlat(injured right now) and Tumo Ruutu(injured as well). All young and very talented. Plus the Hawks have the nicest uniforms in the league.

1) Blackhawks have the sweetest uniforms in pro sports
2) Hockey is fast paced, not boring like the Flubbies
3) The Hawks have good young talent
4) To make me jealous since I live nowhere near Chicago and the Hawk don't play in Raleigh this year.
5) It is hockey, what else is there to say

Two words: "Original Six"

That's all you need to know for starters. Next, go down to the arena and read up on some of the history of the team. Go to a game.

(FYI: You don't HAVE to be a Blackhawks fan just because you live in Chicago....there's always the Leafs - j/k!)

As a Detroiter, I would say because you have a darn good team, on the verge of becoming a contender. If you can appreciate young players, who already play like veterans, there is your answer. Its still early, but jump on the bandwagon now, dont be a follower, learn the game and the team, and bring more people on board.

1) They are on the verge of rebuilding a great team.

2) They beat the Wings 3 times already, and they're one of the best teams in the league.

3) Call it fate, but after the passing of their owner, they really seemed to have started a new page (I really don't think that it was humanly engineered...did that make sense?) and have been kicking as$.

4) Get on it quick or else there'll be no more room on the bandwagon.

So you can become a hockey fan? You could watch it and see what it does for you, I suppose.

You'd probably be better off going to a game (as has been suggested) because that's the ultimate hockey experience, in my opinion.

If you want to learn more about hockey and see some young talented players like Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews I say watch it.

If you're not into hockey ay all watch something else.

I'm originally from Elgin and I still love the Blackhawks.
You guys have two great rookies this year and Robert Lang too among others. They have been doing quite well. I've been able to view a couple games on-line this year and they are looking really good.

Hockey is a sport that demands much more talent than foot/basket/baseball does. no matter what they do in terms of scoring, they are still on a sheet of ice.
