I am in a college class and I need to do a presentation on anything I want but I need to talk for 10 - 15 mins. So I am 17 years old. What would be a topic a 17 year old could talk about for that long. I can't think of anything.

My favorite personally is world war II. There are many, many aspects. You could write about the Bataan Death march in the Philippians, or a lesser known subject. The fight that took place in Alaska.

Oh my, you must be soo scared. OK, just calm down. Look up on the internet for this thing that you go to the hospital and they'll give you that can make you unpregnant if you got pregnant within the last 72 hours. If you've been pregnant longer than that, please don't get abortion. It will prevent a baby from having a chance to live and can be bad for your own health. I think that the most wisest and responsible decision would be to have the baby and give it up for adoption. Or you could to what Juno did and look for a nice couple :). Just remember that this cannot be undone and you have to make the best possible choice you can. It's what's right and will give you self-respect. After you thought about this, tell your parents or a trustworthy adult. Then you can get help. Good luck. :)

the best thing to do is pick something that you are interested in but one idea comes to mind that I would do would be comparing our country now with the original constitution. the constitution complained of taxation without representation, for example but we have many cities who tax those who work in those cities and yet give no vote to the people paying taxes. the Constitution declares separation of church and state but isn't the decision that religion not be taught in public schools a case of state interfering with the rights of the people who pay taxes to support that school to teach religion if the people in a given area want that?Read the constitution and you may see other areas where the original intent of the framers of that document stated one thing and we now practice another contrary to the constitution.
You might also compare students of the 60's who were so involved with politics then to students now who seem not to be so involved.
Or you could talk about why drugs for personal use are illegal now when so many used drugs in the 60's were not adversely affected and went on to become leaders in various fields today.
these are just a few ideas but there are others as well that you may think of.

best to use something you already know a lot about; you could include your hobbies, why you do them, whats interesting, benefits and drawbacks
if you havent got any hobbies you could talk about, try your favourite tv programs/films/etc
anything that you know a lot about will be really good, that way you will be more confident and will be able to think of things on the spot
