if TEN = 20-5-14, and MEN = 13 - 5 -14 what do WOMEN equal by the same logic ????

Each letter is assigned its position in the alphabet.
A = 1
B = 2
C = 3
D = 4
E = 5
...
M = 13
N = 14
O = 15
...
W = 23
X = 24
Y = 25
Z = 26
So WOMEN = 23-15-13- 5-14
And this answer equals 2-5-19-20 / 1-14-19-23-5-18 by the same logic. :-)

The numbers of the letters are the placement of that letter within the alphabet. So, W = 22, O = 15 and M-E-N are already done.

D = distance uphill and D = distance downhill So 2D = total distance T = total time t = time to go downhill T - t = time to go uphill 2D = 6T uphill D = 3(T - t) = 3T - 3t downhill D = Rt Adding these 2 equations 2D = 3T - 3t + Rt and 2D = 6T so 6T = 3T - 3t + Rt Rt = 3T + 3t R = (3T + 3t)/t Total trip 2D = 6T T = D/3 Uphill D = 3(T - t) T - t = D/3 So T - t = T So t = 0 That means R = (3T + 3t)/t = 3T/0 no solution
