Look...I barely even know who the guy was, but come on!

Yeah, maybe he made some mistakes, but the guy was a human being!

I'm not sure if others feel the same way, but I always feel some degree of sadness for a person's family when he or she passes, whether it's Sean Taylor or a family friend or an average joe in the obituary.

I'm not going to slam the guy for his lifestyle, especially after he was GUNNED DOWN in his house and died. Being a "thug" or "dirty player" doesn't mean you should be gunned down. Have a little heart people.

Does anyone agree?

I'm not going to run him down because I don't know him. I will say that being a dirty player DOESN'T mean you should be gunned down. On the other hand when you live as a thug you die as one. It would be like being a blood and saying I don't know why someone is gunning for me. Now back to Taylor though. They say he was cleaning his life up and changing his lifestyle. I think it is a shame that a man finally seemed to be heading down the right path and this happens. I feel bad for the family, I'd feel bad for the family of anyone who died so young. Heck even if the guy was 80 I'd still feel kinda bad for his remaining family.

Yeah, I agree...A person's death never goes without one person suffering. Usually family or friends. Sean Taylor may or may not have been a nice person, but gunner down?? Harsh.

I agree with you Tiger 100% & Dr J, I suppose you have lived a 100% clean life & did no wrong. A man is dead, show a little respect moron. My prayers go to Sean's family, teammates & all of his supporters.

I guess its because he made a few mistakes. You know we hold football players to a higher standard than the people who run this country. We all make mistake but hey since tv raise most kids they hold others for there mistakes

I had no clue who he is but I too am saddened by his passings. I feel for his family and friends. It doesn't matter what someone did wrong in their life when they die but the fact is they are gone. God bless him and his family as well as those who are cruel about talking bad about him...guess it goes to show they aren't anything great either!

I say give ALL of these questions/rants/answers a rest. Regardless if he was a hero, a saint, a thug, or whatever, the fact of the matter is another young man has lost his life senselessly . That being said this is not a time for bashing or speculating or assuming anything. Let it and him rest.

There is a time and place for criticizing a person. The day after his death is not it.
