I am a woman who has been dating a man for a year and would like some good ideas for an anniversary gift please.

while i do think making a collage or a scrap book for him is more meaningful, it will more likely be more meaningful to YOU than to HIM. i did this for my now husband, and though he likes the book, i'm the one who shows it off, not him. guys just aren't really programmed that way. buy him something that he likes or has hinted about wanting but would probably never buy for himself. for our one year anniversary i bought my husband a watch and we went away for the weekend. i bought him concert tickets as a graduation present, a really, really nice designer cologne another year. just use your best judgment. after a year you should know what kinds of things he really likes.

Make something for him, That is the true test to see if he is materialistic, plus its more romantic. Make a colloage in a book of all things that you done together.

Underwear or a watch or a wallet or hanckercheif if he wears suite the gold cuff links are nice.
