There is this man who a few months back found his daughter in possession of a cell phone belonging to my son with messages that were meant for another girl. He however, wanted to make sure my son got blamed, my son is 26 and she is 14 or 15. He couldn't get anything from the law enforcement here in our local town so he went up to the DA and brought up my son's ex girlfriend and she would not say anything against him so he came up with another 16 year old and talked her into filing a complaint against my son saying they had sex. So he was arrested on 3 counts of felony sexual assault on a minor. And then he goes and files a peace bond against my son to stay away from his daughter and then brags around town that if things go his way he will be arrested pretty soon again. This is driving us crazy. Can anyone give me a different opinion as to why this man wants blood over the cell phone and his daughter evern said it was not meant for her when she was questioned by the police. Help Please!

If your son is in fact guilty of having sexual relations with a girl of 14 or 15, then he more than likely will go to prison and rightly so because he is a pedophile. Depending on what State you live in, he could be imprisoned for a very long time.
This may sound mean and matter of fact, but put yourself in that fathers position for a minute. I have a young daughter and if I were in this situation being arrested would be the least of a 26 year old man's worries. It's not very likely that this father went around soliciting young girls to perjure themselves. Your adult son needs to find a good lawyer because if he uses a public defender, and these accusers stick to their stories, guilty or not, there's a good chance he's going to jail. Good luck.

A man will protect his daughter regardless, even if she says they weren't meant for her, if he believes they are, he'll go to hell and back for her. If you had a daughter, wouldn't you do the same thing? The real question is; why did a 14/15 year old have your son's phone in the first place? .. I think he got himself caught up in a sticky situation that he more than likely didn't mean to, but that is life. On the other hand, and I hate coming off as being mean because I'm not trying to in the slightest, is there anyway you're turning a blind eye towards your son, because he may have been doing these thing's that he is accused of? .. It happens every day. A lot of guy's around here go after younger/innocent girl's. *shrugs*

I really do hope everything works out for you guys.

What in the heck is your 26 year old son doing even associating with 14 and 16 year olds in the first damn place?

He is a grown man - and they are children. If he did have sex with the 16 year old then he is a pedophile. He needs to be a man and start hanging out with WOMEN his own age - not little girls.

If I were the parent of that 14 year old I would be a bit irate as well knowing a 26 year old man was hanging out with my daughter -- that's creepy.

Because he believes your son is a sexual predator. Your son hanging out with these kids is not helping his case. It is highly inappropriate for your son to be in a relationship with kids 10 - 12 years younger than him. I don't know what state you live in, however it sounds like it is illegal for him to be in a sexual relationship with kids 16 and under as well. I don't believe for one minute the father found some girl willing to perjure herself so he could further his quest to bring your son to justice.

What is a 26 year old doing hanging out with 14 -16 year olds anyway? Have you ever considered that he should spend some time in prison?

there are times when you just need to pony up a few bucks and hire yourself a nice greedy private investigator.

who by the way, has every right to walk right up to your tormentors house and ask to question him and the other girl who filed a false complaint against your son.

i'll be willing to bet that her story won't add up and she'll be scared crapless and tell the truth.

falsifying a police report is a crime.

hire a private eye and a lawyer - don't ever talk to this guy again - only refer him to your lawyer and private investigator.

stop messing around with this!

I would contact an attorney on this one. Your son may have a heap of legal trouble to deal with.
