You see you only have 13 more months of the nightmare that is the Cheney administration, so now you start panicking and attacking Democrats, is that it?
The Republicans number one game plan: Obfuscation and Inveigling.

Every one tries to control the media when it comes to public perception. The Clintons just take it to a much higher level. It is a matter of degree, I suppose.
To me, if you have nothing to hide or much good things to sell you do not need nearly as strong a grip on the media. However, if you fear people finding out something or if you are trying to fool people, you cannot afford anything less than maximum control.
