HELP can i get a new social security card?

IM MOVING TO UPSTATE NEWYORK AND I WAS BORN IN THE CITY I KNOW I WOULDNT BE ABLE TO GET A BIRTH CERTIFICATE BUT CAN I GET A SOCIAL SECURITY CARD EVEN THOUGH I WAS BORN IN THE CITY?

You need a Birth Certificate or a Passport to apply for a Social Security Card. The following Website will tell you everything you need and how to go about getting it.

You need your birth certificate to get your SS card to prove citizenship...

jsut apply for one with your local social security office... they are in the phone book.
