If it is still wet, water and towels continually until you get it up.
My son dumped a 5 gallon can of latex in the back of my Honda once. (He took a corner too fast) I took the carpeting out and used the hose to flood the paint out of it, using a push broom to get the excess out, it took a couple of hours. But my trunk looked like new and the carpet also, when I was done.
Of course he was working with me.
If it is dry, consider cutting a piece out of the bottom of a closet and swap pieces. It most likely WILL NOT come out.

latex paint is a water based paint and will more easily come up with water and detergent. I would not use hot water, but cold or warm water and for example Dawn soap. Keep applying and blotting over and over. If the paint doesn't start to soften and dissolve, then actually try scraping at the paint with a knife or sharp sturdy object to flake the paint off.

I think that you are out of luck with latex paint in a carpet.

that is a hard one. if you just spilled it then use soap and hot water. if is dried on the only thing you could do is cut a bit off of the carpet. dried paint leaves a bit of color on the fiber.
