I say its the Chicago/Milwaukee area or thereabouts. Although the scenery sucks and we don't have any oceans, we don't have hurricans, wild fires, earthquakes, flooes, etc.

Chicagoans aren't very friendly because of hte crowds, but midwesterners do tend to be nice. Texas rocks too! I love it down there except for the heat.

You also have winters from hell. Brr! I like it here in the Carolinas. It's a bit warm in the summer for my liking and we do have hurricanes but we have mountains and beaches and short winters.
My husband is from Illinois, and I will give you this...Midwesterners are the friendliest people I've ever met.

In England... I would say.. Birmingham. For one, i don't live by the coast. If you do, chances are is that your house is going to get flooded and i live on higher ground so that's why it's good. But on the other hand, we do have tornadoes.

I agree, Chicago! Texas is nice as is many States,but we don't have poisonous snakes,alligators,scorpions,and no Hurricanes,Floods etc.

I'm not tellin'. One of the things that makes this the best part of the country is that there are not too many people yet. I sure don't want to ruin things by advertising.
