Because most of the American people since their childhood are being brainwashed by evil and misleading Republican Neocon propaganda. In addition majority of American people never been anywhere abroad outside their own country and therefore they are not familiar with the outside world.

So it's a question as you have use a question mark, at first I thought it was just a fact.
The answer is too much trash TV, junk food, Disney land, and (this part is a play on words) being bashed on the head with big heavy books creates a very useful and easily controlled heard.
The wolves would not have so much if there were fewer sheep!
And no I don't think winnie ever said "Why there is so many useful idiots " when talking about liberals after all he spent some time as one but I could be wrong people say all sort of things when they're drunk.

Useful idiots? Isn't this from a Churchill quote about liberals. Though even you could be considered a useful idiot. Bush sure has found use for them.

There's plenty of idiots alright but their usefulness is debatable unless all you care about is a workforce that pays taxes and consumes products.
