All I'm going say is that we have better homeless programs for dog and cats than for people, specially veterans but NO taxes would be higher to give veterans/people what they need and I'm too rich to be taxed.

We are treating the symptoms not the cause.

when i used to be an owner-operater and do long -haul trucking, just about every state in the down town are has the same setup!!

i used to go to the local mission and hire a guy for the day if there were no lumpers available to unload my semi!!!

they have access to the local unemployment office for job searches, day labor, sometimes a hot meal and a shower!!

they rely mostly on private donations because the states have cut back on funding!!

its a sad situation with not much of a chance of a future, and there are a lot more runaway kids showing up , and pregnant teenagers, and a lot of drug related inncedents!!!

the day labor jobs are the hardest and the worst of the worst, and not enough pay to get ahead, and not much of a chance to get a better education!!!

I am not aware of nationwide homeless programs. they vary from state to state and city to city. We treat stray animals better.
