Whose response to the Gillian Gibbons case was ''We don't have any teddy bears over here, so in Sudan, for us, it is a fierce and dangerous animal''

The real issue in the teddy bear case is that the school is in a dispute with the government over taxes. The accusation of blasphemy is the corrupt government's way of putting pressure on the school.
Obviously the Muslim parents of the students didn't see any blasphemy in naming a doll Mohammed.

The good Dr. Khalid al Mubarak needs to go back to school or learn to use the internet. Seriously, I asked my students today what they thought of the issue concerning the case. The answer they put forward was the name of the Prophet has a special symbolization or lettering after it to set it apart from the other half million Muslims who also share his name. My students are Saudi Arabian. (They even have teddy bears over here!)
