I think the show was already canceled prior to her filing for Divorce and that may of had something to due with her decision.
VH1 was already having a problem with the show because of Nick's car accident and subsequent arrest and that really was jeopardizing the future of the show. The Producers didn't know how to address it since the passenger in Nick's car is still in a coma.
So I think Linda just figured that since they were almost positive the show wasn't returning then it was safe to go ahead with the Divorce. They were having marital problems at the beginning of shooting last season it was part of the show.

No, I heard that it is not coming back. They said the divorce was not really a suprise for Hulk because they have been having problems for several months even before Nick's accident. I read it was challenging to tape the show because they had to stop fighting and stuff when the cameras were on.

well i read that the show will be put on hold for now, because of the divorce, but the show will continue, there lives will be filmed apart i think
i blame nick for this mess
