I'm just wondering if there is other devices instead of a mouse to draw smooth lines in design softwares?

Sure there are various CAD drawing pads and devices you can use....
look on the net for graphic tablet or grphic pen...might want to look on ebay too you may be able to score a good deal on one.

Yes a Wacom. www.wacom.com It is a tablet with a pen that is used like a mouse. Graphic designers often use them.
