No. I think you are wrong. Our Dear Prez is trying out for the Comedy Club. How else could someone who wanted war come hell or high water, now be the exemplar for a "Peace
Initiative"?

He is an hour late and a mile behind....and has been since he signed on.
He is simply trying to find something good in his presidency and to preserve it.
WWAAAAYYYY too late for that.
His feeble photo-ops on the "Middle East Peace Talks" in Maryland are laughable. Even the participants concur that nothing will come from this. Until the U.S. is out of Iraq, there will be no serious attempts at peace over there.
Bushie realizes his presidency is in the toilet and that's where his administration will remain for the rest of our history. He is the worst we've ever had....
Did anyone see Karl Rove explaining that the invasion was all Congress' fault for signing the bill that let Bush send in troops? Said they shouldn't have signed it so soon....wasn't time to go in.
There is another attempt by a Bush eater trying to spin history and re-write it.
As for the Nobel Prize, I understand you can't actually win it unless you can spell it. That puts him out of the running anyway.

The answers above mine are disgusting and offensive to me.
I don’t vote for the party, I vote for the man.
Our President of the United States has gotten the same rotten deal that President Clinton got from the drive by media.
I voted for President Clinton and like President Bush, the media never gave either of them a chance to do the job we voted them into office for.
I also voted for Al Gore.
I’m sitting here in disbelief that so many seniors are not well read enough and are so miss informed that they are not able to form their own opinion.
It’s clear to me that this clique/ an exclusive circle of people with a common purpose do not have respect for MY President of My country, no matter what his politics are.
Do you not remember the days of yore, when all people stood UNITED.
If you have it your way, you would be living in a Socialist /communistic society.
If you want your posterity to live in this demented liberal society, that will only get worse, so be it.
As for myself, I intend to support the next President, whomever he/she is.
I AM STILL A PROUD AMERICAN. MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA.
“ If you can read this thank a teacher and since it’s in English, thank a soldier !! ”
Edit: We must remember that no . . . . I say no one . . . . is smarter than God.

At the bare minimum, to be eligible for the Nobel Peace Prize, you have to be able to not only "pronounce" it correctly but be able to "spell " it correctly. I doubt that he can do either. Remember, it was daddy who got him in to his prestigious college...he was too stupid to get in on his own.

Yes, it sounds insane but I wouldn't rule out the idea.
Take a look at the list of nobel peace prize winners, it's full of warmongers.
The prize is given based on political convenience.
Al Gore was awarded this year... I rest my case.

Sounds like he's trying to go in the right direction, - nobody's gonna give him a peace prize for one lousy meeting, with such low expectations.

George W. Bush and peace don't belong in the same sentence.

I'm with Eddie on this one. Peace and Bush don't ever mix. Now put a couple of $$ in front of Bush and they seem to go hand in hand.
