How fast do Black Ghost Knifes (BGK) grow? I got one yesterday and it's about 3 or 4 inches long. I have it in a 55 gallon aquarium.

If you feed him properly AND give him suitable companions who won't cause him stress, he should grow fairly rapidly for now.

Once he gets maybe twice the size he is now, his growth may slow down. He is capable of being quite large though, 12" or more.

u will need to upgrade within a year.

My largest was over 24 inches, and in a 125 gallon.

They will grow alittle fast, about 6-8 more inches in 1.5 years if u care for it right.
