Reading this as:-
(8 / x) (x² / 12) = (2/3) x

assuming this is 8 divided by x mulitplied by xsquared divided by 12, then you just multiply accross and get "8xsquared/12x." or a simplified version of "2xsquared/3x" or an even FURTHER simplified "2x/3"

multiply both sides of equation by 12 & u get 96=x cubed.
find the cube root of 96 & u hv the answer.
this assumes * means = sign.
