Heavy late period and brown period?

My sister doesn't have an account, she wants to ask the following: Hey everyone, my period was 10 days late in october because of stress, instead of getting it on the 15th, i got it on the 25th and it was heavier than usual. Then in november it came back on time around the middle of the month, but it was very light and sort of brown mucus. Is this a result of the late period? I mean if i had a late period will it take time to come back to normal again?

Sometimes periods can be erratic, and sometimes Brown, some women miss periods, hopefully you are not pregnant, you don,t say how old you are, but don't worry periods can be here and there sometimes especially if you are stressed

Late, heavy periods with a brown-like colour may be a result of an early miscarriage... consult a doctor!

If you haven't been sexually active, a brown tinge to the blood is normal sometimes. Don't freak. Irregular periodfs are very common. If you want to make them more regular, consider going on birth control.

If she still has the same stresses in life, then she might be irregular for a while. There is no specific timetable for getting back to "normal". If she has concerns, she really should go to her gynecologist. They might put her on the pill to regulate things.

It's possible that this could be indication of infection as well as having been stressed but I would recommend that she check with her doctor as well to see what they say.

Mine does that sometimes too. Call your gyno and talk to him/her about what is happening. Make a list of questions and get all the answers you need.
